Presented in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, Center For Youth,  School #29, and School #45, Dance2B... is a free program for Rochester City School students ages 10 through 19.

 

The Rochester Police Department identifies the hours between 3:00 PM through 6:00 PM as the riskiest for unsupervised youth. This program provides a constructive, positive, supervised environment for the youth of Rochester.

 

Each class includes 1.5 hours of dance instruction by Garth Fagan Dance dancers. Students also participate in Enrichment Classes, which includes nutrition, injury prevention, and stress management courses that are held two times a per month. The session is concluded with public performances where the students can share their progress and experience with friends, family, and the local community.
