Valentine's Celebration with GFD
On February 9th, Garth Fagan Dance hosted its 10th annual "An Evening of Duets". An elegant early celebration of Valentine's Day catered by Char Steak & Lounge featuring a delicious menu curated by Chef Jeremy Nucelli. Mr. Fagan narrated the performance, offering insight into the relationships showcased in the pieces as well as the inspiration behind the creation of each work.

Honoring Christopher Morrison
Garth Fagan Dance lost a beloved dancer, teacher and friend this past January. After months of battling pancreatic cancer the news of Chris Morrison's passing heavily impacted the Rochester community. Born and raised in Jamaica, Chris started his dance training at the age 9 and pursued his passion for dance for over 25 years. Chris joined Garth Fagan Dance in 1990 where he performed as a principal dancer for 15 years before retiring in 2005. Chris will always be remembered for his positive energy and his love of dance.

Summer Movement Institute (SMI) is Right Around the Corner!
SMI- July 7th-27th
Come Learn To Move The Fagan Way!
Join us for three exciting weeks at Garth Fagan Dance.
Students age13 and up will learn the philosophy and intricacies of this contemporary movement led by Garth Fagan Dance company members.
Students will experience the Fagan Technique, Composition, and Repertory through instruction in 3-4 classes per day, 5 days per week.
